Since the start of 2025, the club has met every Tuesday evening at the Fitz Regent Pub in central Brighton.
Our club nights are relaxed and sociable, with a mix of friendly games, league matches and the occasional chouette. Two Tuesdays each month have something extra — see Monthly highlights below.
We warmly welcome players of all abilities, from complete novices to seasoned grandmasters. There’s no need to book or let anyone know — just pop in and say hello. There is currently no fee to join or play at the club.
Whether you’re curious about the game or looking for serious competition, Brighton Backgammon club nights offer something for everyone.

We generally adhere to the official UKBGF (UK Backgammon Federation) rules. If you’re new, we’ll happily introduce you to the version of the game we play.
